Adoptable Dobie: Gryff
Dobies and Little Paws Rescue is an organization near and dear to our hearts. California has climbed to the top of the list for the state with the most homeless Dobermans. As the only Doberman specific rescue in California, Dobies and Little Paws has approximately 200 Dobies in their program as any given time. Let's help them find these beautiful babies forever homes.
Adoptable Dobie of the week is cutie, Gryff.
Gender: Male
Age: Best guess is about 3 years old
Location: Currently located at Dobies and Little Paws Rescue in Fillmore, California.
Story: Gryff is an adult who came to Dobies and Little Paws Resuce from an animal shelter in seriously rough shape. He was quite skinny and half bald from a long untreated skin infection. He had clearly suffered from weeks, if not months, of neglect so it took them some time to get him on the right track. Luckily, he responded well and not only gained some healthy weight but his fur grew back too.
Temperament: Gryff is a naturally sweet boy and loves people but he isn't always great with other dogs so he should be your one and only. There's a great dog in Gryff and lots of potential just waiting to be unlocked. He is a volunteer favorite and every dog walker falls in love with this energetic guy. He’s been through so much and he definitely deserves a loving home as soon as possible so he can start living his best life.
Training: It seems that Gryff not only was physically neglected but he also didn't have much training so he'll need someone to teach him a few things.
