It's October 1st and it officially feels like fall. The nights are cooler and perfect for long walks around the neighborhood. Pumpkins are popping up everywhere and dogs are already enjoying lots of Halloween themed toys and treats.

To kick off one of our favorite times of year we're rolling out the official Doberman-Photo-A-Day challenge. On the first of each month we'll come up with a prompt for each day, the numbers above represent the days of the month. Your job is to capture that word or phrase in a photo and then share on Instagram and/or Facebook with the hashtag #dobermanphotoaday so we can see your posts. Your pictures can be however you interpret the prompt for the day, no rules, no limits just good old fashioned creativity.

We'll post a photo each morning to remind you of the word for that day, and if you forget or get behind you can always peek back at our blog right here to see what's on the schedule. At the end of the day we'll share our favorites with a shout-out and a repost. Get creative and have fun! Happy Fall!!
